As a freelance designer at Billfish Custom Gear in Florida, USA, my work is all about transforming creative ideas into stunning visuals that adorn high-quality fishing apparel. The gear I design for is primarily used in sport fishing tournaments, adding an extra layer of excitement to my role.

One of the most intriguing aspects of my job is the direct interaction I have with clients. Armed with a list of leads, I engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring that their custom logo and artwork reflect their unique style and brand identity. Each day brings new challenges as I encounter a diverse range of clients, each with their own distinct requests and preferences.

Once I have a clear understanding of the client's needs, I take on the responsibility of facilitating the gear order process. This involves creating mockups that showcase how the final printed gear will look, giving clients a tangible glimpse into the end result. It's a thrilling experience to see their excitement and satisfaction as they visualise their designs coming to life.

To ensure a seamless transition from concept to reality, I meticulously pass on all the relevant information to the production house. This ensures that the final product meets and exceeds the client's expectations, leaving them thrilled with their personalised fishing apparel.

Being a freelance designer at Billfish Custom Gear allows me to combine my passion for design with the thrill of working with clients who have a deep appreciation fishing (one of my other passions).
